Private Investments

Marios is a very experienced entrepreneur who invested in several startups and SMEs. His main investment in startups is in Spectrum.Games International Ltd, an online social gaming studio where he is one of the two founders and main shareholders (https://spectrum.games/). His other investments include a crawling services company, a cashback and coupons website and a company involved in healthech.

He is also an active investor in SMEs through Euploia Partners Ltd, a specialized holding company where he is a shareholder along with some of his partners. Current investments include a Medical supplies company and three companies involved in the Maritime supplies sector.

Board Memberships

Marios is a qualified Chartered Accountant, a CFA Charterholder and a Qualified Risk Director. He is also an approved Director by many regulators including the Central Bank of Cyprus, the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission and the FCA. He specializes in fintech and financial services as well as the transport and infrastructure sectors where he has significant experience.
He participated in several regulated and listed companies including one listed in the New York Stock Exchange and he chaired various Audit and Risk, Remuneration and Appointment Committees.

Advisory

Marios accumulated significant experience over the years including the restructuring and privatization of Cyprus Ports, a process that he led from the beginning to the end achieving excellent results for the Republic of Cyprus.
He has also acted as an Advisor for an International numbers company and the electricity interconnector project which involved the connection between Cyprus, Greece and Israel.
His most recent experience includes advising a small private equity fund about investing in Greece and Cyprus

Marios is an inspirational speaker on various subjects related to his expertise and he has participated as a speaker in many international and local conferences as well as giving speeches to university students.
